The Powell Products Swab and Applicator Forming machines transform plastic handles and foam into complete assemblies. It features very high production rates and can be run continuously for days at a time with minimal down time for adjustments.

During operation foam heads are formed and optionally glued onto the plastic handles in a rapid and precise fashion, while minimizing scrap. Each forming machine takes up little floor space and can be operated by one or two people depending on the nature of the job.

Electronic and mechanical controls allow process parameters to be set and tuned for each job. The machine can be re-tooled for new jobs at a very modest expense and adapts to a wide variety of handle and foam head geometries.

Guarding is provided to protect the operators from pinch points and is electrically interconnected with the control system. Operator and technician training (sold separately) is available through Powell Products by means of multimedia methods and practical hands-on demonstrations.
